Fuel mileage?

Just curious what others are getting for fuel mileage. Boat's finally running well enough that I can focus on stupid stuff like this, instead of constantly wondering if I'm about to grenade and need to stay close to shore

Anyway, 3.7L 19' runabout, looks like i get a touch better than 3.5 mpg at 3k-ish rpm/25-30 mph with a few WOT runs mixed in...I'm actually a bit disappointed with that, but don't know what to compare it to.

My 8.1L in a 22' bowrider gets 3.7 MPG at best cruise (28 MPH at 2350 RPM). Average after a full day running around, usually not over 50 MPH, is about 3.3 MPG.

average of about 3 1/2 sounds about right.....
