Fuel mix leaking in to water.

I have a 2003 125 elpto merc, This don't happen much but on occassion i have noticed when i first put in the water and start my engineI notice a small oil,gas slick from my engine, I really dont wont to pollute our water, Any tips on what causes this,and how to correct it. Thanks.

If it is indeed a small occasional slick it is probably just exhaust residue.

It is a two stroke motor and there is no escape from polluting. You can, however, switch to a synthetic, more eco-friendly oil.
