Just got an 87 evinrude outboard,no manual came with it. the sticker on the side says 100 to 1 mix, doesn't that seem lean, i thought it would be a 50 to 1 mix. also does anyone know the proper spark plugs and gaps, thank you very much
Manuals for that engine are readily available in the IBoats Marine Store and on EBay and Amazon. It's a good investment at a reasonable price. I bought the SELOC, which is somewhat generic, but useful. I believe you can find a year specific manual for an Evinrude.
