can anyone tell me the right mix fuel/oil on a evinrude 10hp many thanks.

If its really old it could be 24:1. I doubt that but it is possible. The normal ratio for almost everything is 50:1, about a pint to 6 gallons.

OMC recommended 24::1 for motors before 1964, and 50::1 for motors 1964 and newer. If your motor is before 1950 or so, you might need more oil, than 24::1.

its a 1980s but theres a sticker on it with a fuel pump on the sticker and it says 100/1 mix ?

They recalled that recomendation! DO not mix at 100:1......50:1 is what you want.

MANY THANKS GUYS I THOUGH 100/1 WAS WAY OVER THE TOP
OMC switched to 100:1 in 1985

It was a disaster. and a couple of years later switched back to 50:1 for all premix models from 1964 onwards.
The decals on your engine should have been removed and the owners manual amended long ago
