Hello I just bought an evinrude motor I need<br /> to find out the fuel ratio hp and year of this<br /> motor the only numbers found are 15037A/01200<br /> Any help would be very thankful.I need to know<br /> which repair book to buy<br /> Thank's morris<br /> tac44_2000@yahoo.com

I believe you've got a '62 18 HP. Not sure of the fuel/oil ratio but think it's 24:1.<br />Backlash

24:1 is the correct mix, Morris.<br /><br />Points are set at .020, Use Champion J4C plugs gapped at .030.<br /><br />Good luck.
