fuel, oil mixture on 1991 200hp johnson

can someone explain it like im a 4 year old. how many oz of oil is mixed to the gallon. i see the 50 to 1 ratio on the oil jug but i dont understand what 50 to 1 is. please help ive only dealt with inboard/out, this is my first outboard and i dont want to cause any damage

50 to 1 means 50 parts gas to 1 part Tcw3 oil. 50 ounces of gas and 1 ounce of oil. here's a chart the 4th column is how many ounces of oil you add to a gallon of gas, to the the ratio in the right column. also below is a link to a mixing/measuring bottle.

In some of our cases we have to measure in gallons. In other words I use 1 gallon of oil for 50 gallons of gas. Feel lucky if you need to measure in ounces..

Or one pint of oil in 6 gallons of fuel. two pints in 12, 3 pints in 18, etc.
