fuel / oil ratio, 71 model 9.5 Johnson

Can anybody tell me the proper fuel /oil ratio for a 1971 Johnson 9.5 hp Model # 9R-71R? Motor has been is storage for 14 years!! Time to see if it still runs...

50:1 However, it is most likely your impeller is dry rotted and your carbs gummed up very bad. You should at least replace the impeller and rebuild the carb and fuel pump. You should also remove the plugs and spray fogging oil in the cylinders. If you are lucky, any stuck rings will get released. That is a very long time for an outboard to sit. I'm sure I'm forgetting something so hopefully someone else will jump in here.

It is a long time for the motor to sit. If I know my dad, he ran the engine drywhen he pulled the boat out of the river. It has since been in dry, fairly climate controlled storage. I'll take your advice, though, Thanks!!!
