fuel problem 2002 yamaha115??

2002 yamaha115 in June had trouble with getting the motor over 3500 rpms. Had injectors cleaned and installed a new vst filter.

New Problem - Motor is loosing power when moving over 5,000 rpms, it may be happening at slower speed but it is not noticable. Enginer seems to be running fine at high speed, then it seems to cut out for a second causing the boat to jolt, then it is right back up to speed again.

Tried to determine when it is happening, could not confirm but it appears to be happening when the boat is turning or when I hit some good size wakes.

Any thoughts.

check fuel system vacum at the pump inlet at the problem RPM while testing rail pressure at the same time and RPM.
clasic symptoms of clogged VST or filters causing low rail pressure.
