OK.. need some help here guys. 3.0l OMC rochester 2barrel carb. So about 3 days ago i went out to the lake and when i got out of no wake and gave it gas it would bogg down and eventually die, and it was running fine the day before. all i did was clean out the flame arrester. so i replaced the water separating fuel filter, and it still bogged and died. changed the fuel filter thats in the carb. still bogged and died. so im left with two options. maybe i just need to adjust the scews on the carb since i cleaned out the flame arrester and now its getting better air flow. or maybe the fuel pump is taking a crap on me (previous ower replaced mechanical one with electric) any other problems anyone can think of?? any help would be great. thanks! PS. it idles fine... i can putt around at a slow speed, but when i gas it it boggs and dies.

Sounds like your on the right track with the fuel. could be low level in the bowl. or maybe something got into the bowl and is blocking one of the jets.

thank you for the advice on that. that actually slipped my mind. ill go ahead and check the bowl and the jets since there was no fuel filter inside the carb when i pulled the fuel line off and checked where the filter was supposed to be.
