The problem I'm having is no fuel to lower carbs. What are them 2 blocks on side of the motor with diaphram looking things underneith them? I'm new to working on boat motors and I bought this motor and boat for a pretty good price.The motor turns over good and has good fire.Any help will be much appreciated.

Sounds like you've found the fuel pump marbel eye. If you figger on workin' on the engine yourself, get a shop manual for it. Best 30 or so skins you'll ever spend. After-market manuals are o-k but if possible, get the Mercury manual. Mercury dealer can get it for ya'<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
