Fuel problem???

After 2 months of my dealer/mechanic troubleshooting still don't know what's causing my problems. Twin 2004 EV 225's Direct Injections. 135 hrs last year with no problems. Winterized and stored for 4 monthes. New tank of gas to start off season and both engines start to stall when coming down to cluth(Not neutral, they are still in gear). Mostly happens when pulling in or out of the slip when I have to "Goose" it a little. Mechanic is very confident that it's the gas but cannot tell me how or why the gas is causing this. I've run through many tanks (total of over 1,000 gallons so far) this year from 3 different gas stations with the same problem. First "Alcohol" was stated as the culprit but that has now been proved not to be. I'm having a problem paying my 800$ bill while still having the same problem and not being told exactly what's causing the problem. I' can't settle for just "Bad Gas" as a reason. What in the gas could cause this to happen? Could anything have happened to the engine while sitting idle for 4 months??? The boat has seperate fuel tanks for each engine so it does seem to point to fuel since it happened to both engines at the same time. My Mechanic says maybe fuel rusted the screen on each injector and that's causing the problems?? Anybody ever hear of this???

Re: Fuel problem???

We'll after many monthes of trying to figure out this problem and crashing into alot of pilings when docking/getting gas, the BRP Tech Rep came to the boat and had to adjust the fuel flow a little in the computer. He does not know why the engines were not running right with the Factory Settings on the computer so he changed them. Engines ran great/problem corrected (Not Solved). Now 2 weeks later my starboard computer is fried. Anybody else having problems with these engines????? Dave
