OK bear with me here guys, I just got done doing a swap on my 1990 sea Ray Sundancer with the 7.4 454 big block motor. I also attempted to rebuild my Quadra jet carburetor and I must’ve messed something up so I went ahead and purchased a new Holley750 double pumper carburetor for it and I guess my question is where in the world do I hook up my hose that goes from my fuel pump to the carburetor for when the fuel pump fails? Also what gets hooked up if anything to the side of the metering block on the 750 ?

Where would that connection be at on the carb
There isnt one on an automotive carb…look at your old q jet you will find a nipple on there. On eddys it pressed into the cast at top if carb. Do yourself a favor and rebuild the q jet or get a marine carb.

As per another thread, Holleys are not very common on Mercruisers and certainly not OEM AFAIK. So I don't think anyone is going to be be able to tell you where it "should" be on a Holley.
