Hey guys, can someone give me a part # and supplier for the "correct" fuel pump diaphragm 1988 125HP?

I ordered one last year but when it arrived, it was not the same as the old one. (super thin and flimsy, the old one is tough and course texture. I never even installed the new one. Looked like junk.)

Thanks G

Sierra P/N is 18-7806-1 available here on IBoats. Replacement diaphragm should be flexible. Ethanol in today's gas has a tendency to cause the rubber to deteriorate get hard and crack. I know what you're talking about. Thin flimsy diaphragm, but they seem to work just fine. I change mine every few years as part of routine maintenance.

Yea flimsy is what you need.
I changed mine a while back the one started weeping fuel around the side and both were stiff.
Actually one had a double diaphragm in it?? and no gasket. The leaking one.
That way when I bought it.Didin't seem to hurt anything.
Just make sure you replace the gasket while doing the rebuild.
Make sure it's tight.Seems if it starts to leak it doesn't want to stop.
