Fuel Pump for 1997 9.9 mercury four stroke

Cannot find a fuel pump they do not make it anymore P/N 825470. I was trying to cross reference it to a 1996 Yamaha 9.9 MLHV but cannot get a correct answer for the match.
My hole center line on the original is 1.875". If anyone can give me some advice I would appreciate it. Thanx Mbrody

They seem to be pretty scarce. Here is one from the UK (I think).

If truly a Yamaha part, you will need a cross reference to a Yamaha part number. I looked up 1997 Yammie 9.9 on crowleymarine and found lots of models. You need to match it to the Merc equiv.

i.e. I found this Yammie fuel pump for a 4 stroker. Not sure if it matches your model, but it provides some hope.

What is the engine ID? Serial number.

Not much can be done with the engine identification missing.

I had this one shipped to me and before I ordered it I told them I needed 1.875" centerline of the holes. They got back to me and said that there's was 1.875". Well when I got it it was 2.375". I had to send pics to send it back and pay for shipping. Not a good outfit.

I was unable to find a cross ref from your serial number to a Yammie. Take a couple of pictures of your motor including the powerhead w/o cowling. Go on the crowleymarine web site and work your way thru the yamaha 9.9HP motor parts diagrams of your year until it matches yours.

Now see if you can find the fuel pump.

e.g. I had a Homelite generator that I could not find parts for. It turned out to be a Yamaha generator, painted red. Once I matched it up, parts were plentiful.
