Fuel Pump for a 67 33 horse Johnson?

anyone know where I can get a fuel pump for the 33 Johnson? there are kits everywhere, but no actual PUMPS ... the plastic n i p p l e (dammn CENSORS, grrrrrr) broke off, I dont feel safe rigging THAT with epoxy or some other chemical half fast fix...<br /><br />ah well, any ideas would be welcome, thanks gang

OHHHHHHHHH! That one. I got some oldies at the shop. Don't know for sure if I got one but I will look. Let ya' know Tuesday when I get back there. Seems I remember one like that in one of my parts boxes. Hang in there Ray....still a glimmer of hope.

I was FIVE when it was built, lol, prolly FOUR ... and I feel old, lemme tell ya!<br /><br />That would be great Jim, you have Paypal dont ya?<br /><br />One other thing, with the extender to make it a long engine, that 5 inch spacer, does that change the way you install the impeller? I am hoping thats it, fuel pump and new impeller, and this thing will fire up, if it runs good great, if not I have a tune up kit for it, then Ill start on the 40 horse, between the two of them, should make ol Hydro fly .. shes a 18 Starcraft tin lizzie ... hehehe. the one woman iboats parade name is Liz, but I dont know how that would fly, besides, Hydrophobia is a cool name, Ill have our names airbrushed on the sides like they do cars ... or engraved on a plaque (jeeze, not sure how that is spelled, cmon COFFEE!)<br /><br />

that pump looks like the one on my 72. it has a valcum hose insted of a port hole the pump fits over . changed one by plugging the hole and drilling the bottom for a hose fitting. it worked for years .nad converted it back for a 1979 55hp<br />still going .>>>>>>>>>>papasage

good idea papasage ... if all else fails ... hmmmm, maybe I can drill out the busted nip ... er, hmmm, pipe stem fitting (dammit, its a N I P P L E, I HATE these stinkin so called FILTERS ) and fit some sort of adapter in its place ... eh, cmon Jim!!! I hate rigging up MY stuff, lol, I dont mind doing it for others tho!<br /><br />

Ray....I have failed you miserably.....after a complete check of all rat packed parts and general stuff.....bottom line....I ain't got one. Sorry ol' buddy. Couldn't come through for ya'. Guess I'll just take it out on myself with just half a twelve pack tonight. Maybe get herself to beat on me a while.....(it's a thought that's all).
