Fuel Pump I think 9.8 Merc

Hey guys I have a 1985 9.8 merc that since I have gotten it, I have had to prime the bulb while I run to keep it going. I have never had a problem starting it till yesterday. I put new plugs in and hooked my fuel line right up to the fuel pump, so I know it isnt the plugs or the fuel line itself. Do you guys think it might be the pump? Any help would be great.

Fuel pump, very easy to fix with a repair/rebuild kit. Get an OEM shop manual or take a look at the appropriate Seloc to see if it makes sense to you.
