Fuel Pump Kit?

I was lookin at rebuilding fuel pump on 1956 10 hp johnson qd 17. I was looking at the parts on http://vintageoutboard.com . I was lookin at my service manual and I can not find which kit to buy if someone knows please drop a reply.

Are you speaking of the primer pump on top of the gas tank? A QD-17 does not have a fuel pump on the powerhead unless it has been converted. There are two types of primer pumps on the gas tank. One has a metal primer button and the other has a plastic primer button. Actually, there is a 3rd kind, the earliest ones were called "suitcase tanks" because of their tall skinny shape. They are totally different. The tank you have is not necessarily the one that came with the motor.
