My 1986 Yammy 90 was run for ten years and around 600 - 800 hrs and never needed a pump or carb repair. Or anything else for that matter. I would alwys give it a light wd 40 spray inside and outside as well as change impeller and plugs every other year..great motor. They are all I will ever own..
