Fuel pump overflow hose

502 Mag...Holley 800 cfm carb (9022)..mechanical holley fuel pump. Where does the overflow (i think thats what its called) tube on the fuel pump connect to on the carb ? The only port I saw on the carb had a hose going to it from the electric choke. I really didnt see anywhere to connect the clear hose from the fuel pump. Thanks.

It's not an overflow. It's a tube that puts gas that leaks past the fuel pump due to defective diaphram into the carb instead of the bilge.
Since the was no such thing as a 502 with a Holley carb in 88, you need to find a way to direct the fuel from that hose to go into the throttle bore of the carb.
Volvo did it with a tube thru the flame arrestor aimed into the primary throttle bore.
