fuel pump problem for 1972 evinrude 85 hp

i have a vacume fuel pump can i wire a electrical fuel pump up and what would be the way to do it?

my vacume fuel pump is leaking and cracked that is why i want to replace it with a elect fuel pump dealer can't get pump in

I have used an electrical fuel pump on my engine ,no problem.<br />But you have to plug the vacume hole in the powerhead ,ad a fuel filter.<br />What pump do you plan to use ? I used an pump from a old Mazda 616 , it was 80mm x 40mm x 60mm.
