I recently purchased a fuel pump for a Chrysler inboard from iboats. There is no fitting from the diaphram to go to the carb. Is this something new that I don't know about?

Back in the day they weren't required. I don't know of a manufacturer that has used Chrysler engines in a long time. Does your current pump have the provision for the overflow tube?

Yes Mark, the one I removed has the overflow tube and a fitting on the carb. She is a 1974 318.

Is there a plug perhaps in place of a fitting? If so, maybe you can remove the fitting from your current pump. Otherwise, I would suggest contacting iboats about a replacement... or maybe someone can chime in otherwise.
