I just had my 1988 OMC King Cobra Engine (Ford 7.5 litre) rebuilt and my mechanic strongly advises me to replace my fuel pump (15 years old with 1000 hours on it)however the part is no longer available from OMC or anywhere else I have looked. So far I have not found a rebuild kit for it either. Should I remove the engine driven pump and go to electric and if so, how do I find out which electric pump is appropriate. Its feeding a Holly 4 Barrel Carb. Thanks for your input.
Bobby B

Re: Fuel Pump

Thanks for your advice, my new fuel pump is on its way. By the way you mis-typed the web address, its marineparts .com and they have everything and anything you could want, especially for older boat parts.
Bobby B
