50:1; 87 or 89 US Octane to TC_W3 oil.

If that is what you are asking, it's 50:1 TC-W3.

Tough engine but IMHO make sure it's not running lean as if you are near sea level. Better rich than lean! Also, Even though it propably was designed for regular fuel, I would concider running mid grade 89!

Reason I say what I do is that the 140 was the highest HP on that block that was offered in those years and they were known to seize a piston once in awhile if run hard for long periods of time.

If you going to run at high performance levels, you need to increase the oil on any 2 stroke motor.

The 1982 140HP crossflow is basically the same motor and horsepower as the 1986 115HP crossflow, so there is no reason other than high performance use to exceed the manufacturer's recommendations except during break-in..

I have a115 horse evinrude,seems 50:1 is the preferred outboard mixture
good boating
