My Starboard gas tank has a defective sending unit. The one that came out was a Medallion Instruments Inc. float type 240 Ohms sender. Trying to find an exact replacement is a pain in the butt. Does anybody have any recommendations on a replacement?

I've seen the two tube type that measures the air gap with no moving mechanical parts. From what I read, it has to be calibrated and I was hoping someone would know if it was difficult to do.

The original sender - the float measures 17 1/2" from the flange to the float at rest on the bottom.
Thank you.

Re: Fuel Sender Unit

This is what iv'e been using for about five years now. They are a direct replacement and virtually trouble free.
