fuel sending unit ???

So Im pretty sure I need a new fuel sending unit. Ive got voltage going to it but Im still not getting a reading. So my question is..looking on this website for a sending unit should I get the more expensive Moeller Reed Switch Sending Unit or can I just get a universal one?? thanks

I think that's personal preference. I just put a universal in my Ranger and it works fine and was cheap. If you have access to the sending unit it's a VERY easy job. I have poor access and it took me a couple days worth of contortioning to get it in, but the process is basically a bolt in deal. Sure is nice to have knowledge of how much fuel is in there....

Do you want a nice constant fuel tank reading or one that is constantly bouncing all over the place so?
