Fuel sending unit

I recently purchased a boat that had the gas tank removed and reinstalled with the sending unit wires disconnected there is a spade connector on the sending unit itself but on the three wires taped to the fuel inlet line all are round connecters with the exception of one black one that has a spliced wire attached to it this could have been the female spade conn..? anybody know where i can get a good digram the manual i have sucks do the round connecter all go to the center of the sending or are the seperated?

I'll move this over to the electrical forum, might want to read the first sticky on using the search featue. There are fuel gauge questions on a weekly basis in that forum.

The terminal in the center of the sending unit is the one you want to go to the gauge.
As for the color of the wire to the gauge, got me. You either trace it or ohm test it to find the right one.
On mine the spade is just another ground.

i agree one must go back to the guage but ther are three with eye loops all the same length right there taped together??
