Is having 2 fuel filters on each engine going to restrict fuel flow?

Merc did have some problems with the electric fuel pumps on EFI engines, but there is no reason to have 2 water seperating fuel filters.
What is your engines SN, there is a Merc service bulletin if on some SN ranges with low pressure.

Anything the fuel has to pass through will restrict flow, as in the check valve at the fuel tank outlet. Does this valve impede engine operation as in wide open throttle RPM?
No
The valve is sized to permit sufficient flow for maximum RPM as designed.
None the less, will more fuel flow volume result with the value removed?
