I own a 19 ft cuddy and just today when I was filling the tank fuel started to come out of "what looks like" a small chrome vent located at the transom about 2 feet from the fuel cap.Anyone have any ideas what that could be it has never done that before???

Ya that's the vent for the gas tank. You must have overfilled and it came back up the vent. When your filling your tank you can usually hear air and perhaps some water come from it.

Thanks, what was weird though was that at the time the tank was only half and I had just started filling, and a week ago the kid that was fueling me at the maria said he could hear a "spider" when he was filling whatever "that" meant??

Interesting... A spider? Haven't heard that maybe someone else can comment on what that means.

I guess it is possible that the tank was being filled too fast and it caused pressure to build up so quickly it forced fuel to be pushed right out along with the air an condensation....
