fuel stability

I use my boat with 50hp evinrude all year...<br />we do a lot of winter fishing ,weather providing.<br />question is, how long does it take for fuel to gum up?<br />i run mid grade( approx 90 octane)<br />when the storms start arriving in november sometimes the motor does not run for 2-3 weeks at a time.<br /><br />thanks

Run the stabil all the time... remember to add it when you buy the fuel, not 3 weeks later. If you do, you'll never have gum or varnish build up.
