Ok, I have a 1992 Rinker with a 4.3L Yamaha I/O. Recently it's developed the problem of dying once it gets warmed up (1 hr of running approximately). I replaced the distributor last year and have check the spark, which is strong. It acts like a fuel problem. So far I have replaced the fuel filter, checked the air cleaner, run through a couple tanks of gas, check for plugged gas tank vent... If the boat sits for a while, I can get it to fire, but I will have trouble keeping it running, either at idle or open throttle. I have a better shot at keeping it going if it's up to RPM but that's no guarantee. My next step was to replace the fuel pump, but I did hot wire the pump and is SEEMS to be working. Help?
