Fuel Tank capacity - 1990 Deck Boat GranDecker

Does anyone have information regarding the 1990 Deck Boat GranDecker by Anchor Industries? Particularly, the fuel tank capacity. The boat did not come with any information.

Check the fuel gauge, and then fill the tank. You will then have an idea how much fuel it holds. Could be anywhere from 16 to 50 gallons or more.

Can you physically measure the tank? You can calculate the capacity by
1) Multiply length X width X height (all in inches).
2) Take the resulting number of cubic inches and divide it by 231 to get the capacity in US gallons.

If you want an educated guess, use 30 gal as a working number.

Is the boat new to you? The fuel is suspect; not bad, just an unknown.

Drain the remaining fuel into jerry cans. and see what it looks like.
You now have an empty tank; go fill it up; now you know the capacity!

Is there an inspection/access hatch in the deck, above the tank's fuel gauge sender? You should find a tag on the tank at that spot that'll give maufacturer, manufacture date and capacity. Probably need a flashlight to read it.

The math indicates 23 gallons, and I have put 24 in it already (with gauge reading dead empty), so must be around 25 gallons.

Unfortunately, the only thing legible on the label is a P.O. box in Perry Florida.
