I cannot find how many gallons my fuel tank capacity is. Iv search threw my manual and my seloc repair manual. If any has the same type and brand of boat I have , can you help me out with this. Iv only had it out twice to the lake. And ran it down to quarter tank then filled it. And I think it was about 20 gallons + or - thanks fellers

We get plenty of owner's manual questions and folks often forget or don't know that many mfgr's have owner's manuals archived.

Chaparral does from current models way back to 1980. I looked at the the manual for yours and it the same as many others - The prop will cut your toes off and don't drink gasoline, along with some basic operation. How ever Chaparral also has brochures back to 1975 and selling tools almost always give some basic specs, fuel capacity being one.

I found the tank size in the brochure for the Chaparral in your sig. Simples. :D

Yea. I called chaparral dealer ship to order the Manuel. Because this my first boat. And wanted to have as much info as possible. I'm the 3rd owner of the boat. But has been very cared for with tons or all service records. So wanted the manual for proper care and service. The lady told me to down load it from there sight , and I did. But like you said. Just the basic operating instructions and the prop can cut your toes off. And don't drink beer and operate boat. Wooptie doooo,, I would like to have the brochure on it thow. And the seloc repair manual is ok to get by with. But the guys here say to get the OEM Manuel. Witch I stil need to do. Thanks buddy

In the future, measure the tank. L x W x H = cubic inches. Divide by 231 = gallons
