I stepped on my fuel tank elbow this morning and snapped off the anti-siphon valve. My question is: Do I apply plumbers tape to the new treads or will the NTP treads seal it up? Thanks as always!

Re: Fuel tank elbow question

Plumber's tape is not so good with fuel applications. There is another type of tape for fuel exposure. Permatex also makes a liquid thread sealer that can be used with fuel systems.

Ah yes I figured so. I used a liquid thread sealer and we shall see what happens! Thanks
