Fuel tank sending unit replacement/upgrade?

I need to replace my fuel gauge, and am thinking about getting a new sending unit as well as it is 33yrs old. Thought I'd see what my fellow iBoaters are using and how they like them. What else is out there besides the old 'toilet tank float' style? Are there better systems/newer technology out there? More accurate? Or are the old float styles still the best bang for the buck?

I recently replaced my sending unit with a new and trusty float design. Best bang for the buck i think. I also replced the fuel guage with the sportsman series white face guage. Works great and didnt hurt wallet. But I also replaced all the guages with the same series so it would match.
