fuel tank sending units

I have a Fisher 17' SV-GT with factory built in 26-28(?) gallon gas tank. Have had problems with the in-tank sending unit and would like to replace this unit with a factory model if available. This tank is only approx. 7 3/4" to 81/2" deep and not too excited about the after market models/styles out there. Perhaps some has knowledge of the original tank mfg.

Appreciate any info, (possibly original tank mfg.) or known availability of this unit. As a last resort, your review and first hand knowledge of an aftermarket that works and hassle free. Thanks.

I used an aftermarket, works great. Just be sure to measure the depth and that you get the same base (5 or 4 screws).
