Fuel Tank??

I have an older 5.5 Johnson outboard and i'm looking for a fuel tank (plastic) for it, I have looked at Chilton and Moeller, does anyone have any preferences or Suggestions????

How old is your engine? That makes a difference.<br /><br />Post the model # and serial #. Those can be found on the clamp bracket and/or a core plug on the side of the engine block.

it's a 1961 CD-18 Johnson it had a fuel pump so it needs only 1 line....

Wal-art has one for about $14.00. It is plastic and 5 gallons. There as good as any and will be easy to obtain.

Well I bought the Moeller tank now my question is do I use 5/16 or 3/8 line??? and has anyone used the clear line???? I thought the fuel pump might suck it closed....

I doubt if it matters, but I would use regular fuel hose. Make sure the fitting barbs fit the hose size.
