Fuel Water Separator

To all who have water separator in their FUEL SYSTEM.

I would really appreciate if you could share your thoughts about having additional filter.
I have 1999 FORCE 40 HP and would like to install one of this. I saw one but it says not recommended for engine with electric fuel pump.
Do I have an electric (12V) fuel pump in my engine?
Would this not affect the delivery of fuel?
Is there anyone here who have bad experience in having this on their engine?

I found one in EBAY. Please let me know if it's ok to buy this.

You do not have an electric fuel pump. Your motor has a mechanical fuel pump.
That filter should work fine.

Shop around a little, you will find a complete kit, including the fittings.
