fuel water seperator

Hello, I am installing one on a 1987 mercruiser 3.0 litre and was wandering what size of hose barbs to get, my kit only came with plugs and the directions are very vague. Also where would be a good place to mount it?

3/8" ID Type 1 Fuel Hose is what you need for the hose.<br />Brass hose barb fittings from 1/4" NPT pipe thread to 3/8" hose barb will work. Also use the 1/4" wide mini hose clamps, not the big wide hose clamps. They cause air leaks that cause low rpms.<br /><br /> Hose Barb fittings
