Just out of curiosity... what is the round trip distance you have driven to pickup your boat...

Mine was a paltry.. 400km or about 250 miles!

i went to ABQ to get mine, abt 250 miles one way. but that's not exactly accurate since my wife lives there and i was going up anyway. but a good window into what towing it would be like.

My wife and I made a weekend trip out of picking up my 15-footer in Rhode Island. About 8 hours for us...

My first boat (an old FG) was bought on the last day of vacation and towed home about 200 miles. That was 8 or 9 years ago.

The Mariner was about 40 miles from home, the Lone * Star was about 30 miles from home.

Non have had epic tales of horror getting them home, knock on wood.

My Aerocraft was about 2 hours each way, the SC was only about 40 minutes

Yeah but air miless don't count. Only road miles. At least Kev doesn't accrue frequent flyer miles.

My pick up was about 500 miles round trip. And half (coming home) was on two May-pops on the trailer. Much slower coming home.

I'm sure Dozer has the trophy unless someone did a coast to coaster.

i don't win any awards for horizontal distance but may have the one for VERTICAL distance sewed up.....bought our sailboat just outside Cloudcroft, NM, elev about 8650', and towed it back down the mountain....4600' elev drop in 15 miles. brakes don't fail me now.......

Looking at possibly a 5 to 6 hour drive one way to pick up another Starcraft here in a few days if the deal works out. Wifey just rolls her eyes and says 'you and your adventures'. I always reply by saying that I am just trying to keep life interesting! haha.

1,400 miles in a rented F250 from a dealership. (Completely understand peoples devotion to ford pickups now)

Dad offered me the boat because he didn't want to pay for storage anymore. ($2400 a year)

Atlanta GA to Wyandotte MI, and back again.

First time ever towing a boat also, those mountains had me nervous. Pulling into a gas station was fun too. What an adventure.

I did 810 miles with old blue from Rockford Il To VA..... But I think Dozer's got us all beat!

For my trip it was roughly 30-40 minutes.

For my Dads trip it was some where in Virgina. If I had to guess roughly 3-5 hours? His boat's a glasser so you guys probably don't care. If you're curious what it looks like it's in the background of my build. Looks a lot like a Parker.

picked up the SeaRay in St Louis. 485 miles one-way, so just shy of 1000 mile round trip. saved me $5k over buying local. then I moved to florida......and back to wisconsin..... does that 3100 mile round trip count?
