I'm looking for a Furuno Data Cable for my GP1650F. This is an older unit and maybe someone has the cable laying around. The Furuno part # was FUR-DWN-CBL.
This cable is used to download GPS info to your computer to back it up and it wasn't purchased with the unit. There is also software out there that manipulates this data but I'm not sure what to get. After speaking with Furuno, they said I can still buy the cable but they don't sell the software. I am hoping someone out there is familiar with this process and might have an old cable and software they no longer use.
