I have a 2009 Bayliner 245SB cruiser and I need to find the fuse block. It's not where the owners manual says it is. I contacted Bayliner and they couldn't help but referred me to the local dealer service department and they couldn't help either. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there that has any knowledge of this?

They can hide them pretty good sometimes. Usually in the dashboard area, underneath, or down in the cuddy cabin, behind a removable panel. How about some pics of the dash area, and cuddy behind the dash. I usually find them on any boat I've been on.

I pulled off one of the switch panels and looked behind the dash and nothing. There are three removable covers in the sleeping birth. One on the starboard wall which the manual says is where its located and it's not in there. The other two are on the ceiling. One directly under the helm seat and the other is near the port side wall. The guy at the dealership suggested I look for a wood panel perhaps on the cabin stairs. It's pretty crazy that it is so hard to find something that requires attention from the owner. If it helps this was a one only year style for the 245SB. After that this was an identical boat as the 255SB. Thanks for your help. Dash.jpg

Does it have a main breaker panel? Possibly don't have a fuse block if it has breakers in the cuddy.??

It has a 110v breaker panel in the cabin. That panel controls AC, range, fridge, hot water heater, battery chargers, microwave ...It also has 4 DC breakers right next to the battery selector switch that control forward and aft bilge pumps, CO2 sensors and one marked ACC. The owners manual shows to complete fuse panels with a total of 24 fuses. I heard back from Bayliner again today and they say the panels should be where the manual says but I've taken pictures of the cavity in the hull and there are no fuse panels in there. I mentioned in my email to them that it shouldn't be this difficult for an owner to find and change a blown fuse.

Yes I have a post on that site as well... The boats only 25 ft long.. How many places can they find to hide one of these?

Heck, if they could hang it on a sky hook they would!
I'm guessing here, but it still could be in the panel where they say it is. Some are jammed in to one side or the other, even behind the wiring harnesses, or up high in there where ya can hardly see them.

I've decided to run the wiring for the electric head all the way back to the battery with it's own dedicated fuse.and pray that I don't blow any fuses in the future. Thanks for your help.
