Ok, I decided to change out my fuse box in my bass boat, it's a mess under there. The fuse box that is in the boat has 12 terminals (believe this fuse box was charged out once before). The one that I purchased has 6 terminals. Here is my thought and question. Like in a cars 12v system, they may run 2 or 3 different things to one fuse terminals at the fuse box. For example, they may run the brake lights, horn, and running lights on the same fuse. My question is can I do the same with the boat fuse box. Ie...both fishfinder to one positive terminal, both livewell motors to one positive terminal, and so forth.

Yes you can but do add up the current load (amps) for the items your placing together. Putting all the lights should be no issue. The live well pumps would draw more current.

Wire size feeding items is another limiting factor

Thanks for your reply,
I think Nitro, put both livewell pumps on the same fuse. The bilge pump and ignition switch are on separate fuses, I wanted to add both fishfinders and horn together. I think that's all I have..I dont think both fishfinders will draw enough amps to cause an issue.or will it, dont know how much amps each draw... I have 2 of the Lawrence hook 2 with GPS, small units.

Ayuh,..... It's yer boat, you can wire it with as few, or as many circuits as you want,......

The draw-back is, the more accessories on a circuit, the harder it'll be to find a problem,......
