Fuse, charging prob, 75hp johnson 1961, fuel mix?

Hi, I have a MFG boat with 1961 75hp johnson outboard model #V4AL13F and in the electrical box under the transom there is a ceramic fuse ( part #378456) can these still be found? my fuse blew and I wired in a new inline fuse but my charging system does not work and I think that fuse was attached to the positive part of the rectifier and somehow completes the charging system. I have tested everything else and it's been driving me crazy for weeks! Also i was told to run a fuel mix of 50:1 on this is that right?
