Fuse help

I have a1994 Astro 17SCX fiberglass boat, The gauges dont work but the lights come on,each gauge, Can anyone tell me were the fuses are I looked every were, and cant find them, or does this boat have a fuse panel, I just bought the boat, Please help, Thanks

1) Do the switches on your boat have little white buttons above, below or along side them. If so, you do not have fuses -- those white buttons are circuit breaker reset buttons.

2) Gauges become active when the key is on. That means power for the gauges comes through the engine harness to the key switch, then to the gauges. If the engine starts and runs fine, there are no blown fuses or popped circuit breakers. The main +12 volt or ground wire for the gauges is probably broken or disconnected. There is a sticky at the very top of this forum titled "Generic Boat Wiring Diagram". Study it to see how the gauges are wired.

I bought a console from an inflatable that has a bus bar accessed through the "glove compartment". I discovered that there were two openings towards the lower right and left ends of the bus bar that take 5 amp, push-in fuses (not the glass ones). Once installed, the switches work great.
