Inherited 1990s Starcraft with 60HP Mariner that has been dry docked for several years. Installed new battery and fresh gas and she fired right up. However, all of the instruments did not work. I located an in-line fuse back near the battery that was blown (corroded). Put in new fuse and got power to parts of the panel (radio, horn, depth finder) but still no tach or fuel gauge. Are there other fuses that I need to check/replace? If so, where are they? I've looked inside the console behind the instrument panel and nothing is obvious. Thanks. Joe

Re: Fuses???

There should be fuses for both the tach and fuel guage but each may not have it's own fuse. Often, guages will share the same fuse.
You should be checking for voltage on the terminals marked '+' or 'POS' which usually has a red wire. If you have voltage there, the problem is not a fuse. Problems other than no power are often associated with the tach and fuel guages such as the sender unit for the fuel guage or a corroded wire for the tach.

Check back after checking the voltage and we'll be able to narrow your search.

And welcome to the forum.
