I have a 14 foot future and i am going to put a 50 hp motor on it. I have found a 2003 yamaha F50TLRB with 20 hours on it and a 2006 yamaha 2 stroke with 110 hours on it.
I know that weight is an issue always but the 4 strokes are more fuel efficient which isn't a major issue as i don't put a lot of hours on in a year.
Any direction/thoughts are appreciated.
Any good info about either motor would be great too......this is my first post:)

If engines are in perfect shape as both have low hours on them, and if fuel consumption is not an issue, go for the 2 strokes engine. Weights less and more friendly to service.

I think the 2-stroke is the way to go.....would it hurt to put a 70 on the boat even though it's rated for a 50?
I have found a very good deal on a 2006 70 hp yamaha 2 stroke with incredibly low hours.

Does the transom plate indicates 40 or 50 HP engine ? with 70 you already are overpowering that sib, if you have 0 experience with inflatables ideal is to go top-top sib/engine configuration, don't pass 50 HP would be my personal recommendation a 70 is too much and much heavier engine, unless you are a extreme fast boater as some guys here :D

The transom does say 50 hp max, and I am thinking of a 50 hp 2 stroke which weighs 189lbs.. The alternate is a 50 hp 4 stroke which weighs 237lbs.
The 70 hp 2 stroke weighs less than the 50 hp 4 stroke.
I can get the 70 for about $500 usd more than the 50 2 stroke.
I could get the 70 and just take it easy right??
Maybe the 70 would fit the next one i buy, which may be a Rib.
Imi trying to talk myself in to the 70 I guess!!

Well, in that particular case planning a future rib update and killing two birds from a single shot, take it easy on the throttle when trying to plane...:D
