I don't know about that boat, but the future of my boating begins next Tuesday, when the weather is supposed to be beautiful, then continues at least one day a week until the first hard frost. I'll be fishing. I usually use about 3/4 of a gallon of fuel for half a day of fishing, so I guess I'll still be able to afford it for some time to come. :D

It runs on human fat and holds 3,000 gallons of fuel???? That's a lot of liposuction! :D

How many beers in 3,000 gallons of fat??

Ok, the geek in me couldn't resist....

1 gallon fat = 7.4 lbs (http://www.dwlz.com/alsessays/alessay08.html)
1 Budweiser = 145 calories (http://www.beer100.com/beercalories.htm)
1 lb of fat = 3500 calories (http://www.wholesaledigital.co.za/oscommerce/images/gt_interactive/cache/lizeletin.html)

Therefore,

3000 gal x 7.4 lbs/gal = 22,200 lbs fat
22,200 lbs fat x 3500 calories/lb = 77.7 million calories
77.7 million calories / 145 calories per Bud = 535,862 Budweiser.....

However, there is a flaw in this calculation. As I am Canadian and do not classify Budweiser as beer, the above is null and void!

I love when they say running it will result, "with a net zero carbon-footprint".
They never say how big the footprint was from building the thing in the first place.
I will keep my 36 year old, inefficient boat. Keep it from filling up a land fill and keep me from buying something new and creating another new carbon footprint. I guess you can say I am a environmentalist.:D
