FW Horizon 190 fuel gauge..

Hello all.

Figure now is a good time to tackle this issue. 86 four winns 190, with a merc 140 in her. Fuel gauge not working.

I have put about 10 gallons in here via gas cans, for testing and running short bits, but now that I have her running good enough to use for the time being, figure it would be nice to know how much fuel I have in her.

What would be the areas to check on this? All the other gauges work fine, just the fuel sending unit. I have access to the tank, via a removable panel.

Clean the wire connections on the back of the gauge and at the sending unit.

Mine didn't work and so I unhooked it from the sending unit on the tank and cleaned everything well - put it back together and works good now.
