When I removed my stern drive for the winter. (first time I ever removed one)
Oil leaked out from the bell housing into the bellows is this normal? It looked like clean oil.

No, it's not normal. This is usually caused by a bad seal and probably the yoke the seal rides on has a groove in it, and requires replacement.
