hey guys i have a 1987 mercruiser 165hp with alpha one drive, im about to reattach the drive back onto the boat but just wondering how the shift shaft is supposed to sit.. i know in forward gear but the shaft on the boat and one on the drive.. which way is forward ? anyone with pics?
